I have long thought that if you could say "Hello," "please," "thank you," "Does anyone here know English?", "Where is a toilet/privy?", and "Fuck you!" in the language of the country you're going to, you're pretty much covered. Now I find that there's another essential phrase that I've missed! Thanks for this vital URL! :-D
