    Sucks that I forgot to post about it until it was too late! I'm glad you and other stayed on top of it, though. L'Ailee and I each called, anyway, and both of us required three tries to get through. Seems to be a good sign. We need those. You're absolutely right--this is about basic survival.

    Didn't the courts rule a few years ago that the New York State human rights law already covered trans people because it forbids discrimination on the basis of sex?
