OK, while we here - who thinks that Richard Loncraine's Richard III is the best filmed Shakespeare to date? Ian McKellen was just fantastic. Unfortunately I never saw him do it on stage. Though I once saw him in Coriolanus.

I liked Julie Taymor's Titus as well.

I keep meaning to see "Titus." I don't love everything Taymor does but it's always visually stunning at least.
haven't seen the Loncraine version, but I'll just bet Ian McKellen was sensational.
what I really want to see, and not just because I am a hopeless fangirl: David Tennant's Hamlet at the Royal Court. I bet he'll be fecking brilliant.
