Note to AL--saw your comment after I took the post down. It was a general rant. I decided afterward that I'm too hot and tired for another fucking catharsis right now. Some other time.
Three and a half months. And tough, and clever; she's already learned to pull open a door that was closed but not latched when she had a serious appointment to do some scampering elsewhere.
And she went from "hiss at the dog when he comes within six feet" to "the waggy tail is a fun toy" in about three days. It's almost too much cute to bear.
I can't believe this! I can't believe the hypocrisy at this site!
How can you people fail to recognize the irony of this utopian vision of cat and dog relations where, oh yeah cats and dogs can co-exist as long as the kitties are tiny and cute and the dawgs are big and clearly in control--as long as the kitty is literally presented with her lips pressed firmly agianst the BIG DOG'S posterior?
"Look how cute they are! They love each other!"
And this is the kind of lie you "liberals" tell yourselves to make yourselves feel better about perpetuating a system that consistently oppresses . . . dogs...or cats . . . or ...
Oops. I'm being a jerk again, aren't I?
Sorry. Sorry.
I haven't been able to vent in a while, and I'm suffering from righteous indignation withdrawals.

not to knock the puppies and kittens. they are totally death-by-cuteness.
This picture is so fucking cute. I can't stand that I'm not there so I may mash and maul these animals to death...that's how I show love..
There was. I thought better of it. ranted and raved at the therapist's instead. i may still post it later. as it was it was a bit too vague.
