29th Carnival of Feminists is up

...at the imponderabilia of actual life. It's a good 'un.

hunh. i haven't seen it. but it may mean "out of beta" as in "done with the testing phase." beta is usually a pre-launch pre-ofishul phase for testing bugs.

Yeah, just ask Atrios about how "out of beta" they are - he tried to switch and his blog ended up offline for about 24 hours until they finally restored his old (non-non-beta) blog.

I don't trust 'em, not one bit.

Also, on a more specifically personal note, the new Blogger uses buttons that don't work on my Treo, so if I switched, I'd be completely locked out of commenting or posting on my own blog when away from a computer.

I don't like change. When Blogger went to beta I broke out in a rash. Now that they're doing something else again I feel a twitch coming on. right here, at my left eye. see.....*twitch*

Holy foreskin, Batman! (etc) sorry in advance for offending anyone but, well, you know.

I thought it was going to be something about a new Batman villain called The Mohel...

(I'm seeing possibilities for a musical - it could be called "O Calcata!")

I switched over...but I had to do a dummy blog to make sure I could get my beta blog to look pretty much the same as my original. It wouldn't accept the old script. The feeds seem to be impossibly snarled. Unless you can set up a feed with java script, the rss picks up odd posts out of order. All new blogs are being done as beta now. I was afraid they would phase out the old one so I went ahead and did it. It seems okay now, but there is still great wailing and gnashing of teeth over on the google blogger help board.
